Two of Martin’s students will be heading back to college this fall and are looking for people to lease their horses while they are away. In an ideal world, this would be a September thru May so that they could enjoy their horses while they are home for the summer. But any quality home will be considered. Keep reading to learn more about these 2 fun horses!
Currently show in the 1.0m jumpers, but has schooled through 1.15m at home. Although most of Cardino’s experience is in the jumper ring, he would also make an excellent equitation or hunter mount with his three beautiful gaits and nice, flowing canter. He has a super sweet, gentle personality and is a pleasure to have in the barn. He is extremely well-mannered, self-loads and stands perfectly for vet, farrier etc. Hacks out perfectly alone or in groups and is truly as safe as they come. Looking for someone experienced to lease him and continue to show him. A good home is a must! For more information about leasing Cardino, email Isabella Martin at imartin4@elon.edu.
Klaus has been competing in the jumper ring for the past two years and recently won both of his 1.0m classes at HITS Culpeper. He has schooled up to 1.15m at home and has tons of scope to keep going. He is the sweetest horse in the barn and has such a fun and spunky personality. He is very willing and tries his hardest to please his rider. Klaus is a super fancy mover and has a nice uphill canter. He loads, stands for the vet and farrier, and clips. Klaus is perfectly fine riding out alone or in a group with other horses. For more information about leasing Klaus, email Lily Martin at lillym@vt.edu.
