Libby is the kind of young mare that makes producing a young horse feel straightforward. Athletic, intelligent, and genuinely willing, she enjoys having a job and has approached each new step in her education with the same positive attitude.
Thoughtfully started under saddle at The Frame in 2024, Libby was then given the time to mature before being asked to progress. That patience is paying off. She has developed into a willing, sensible young mare who is gaining confidence with every new experience and is currently preparing for her first jumper show of 2026.
So far, being over fences seems to be where she is happiest. Libby is easily schooling around 2’11″/Novice courses (with plenty of step and scope to continue moving up the levels) and has been remarkably uncomplicated to the fences. She stays positive, willing, and forward without needing to be over-ridden. In her current program, Libby has been successfully ridden and enjoyed by both amateur and junior riders in lessons.
Libby’s pedigree combines quality movement, athleticism, and the type of rideability that has made her such an enjoyable horse to develop. While she has the movement and trainability to appeal to someone interested in dressage, her natural enthusiasm for jumping makes us especially excited about her future over fences.
Still young and continuing to gain experience, Libby is ready for someone who wants a talented, willing partner to continue bringing along.
