What a scorcher of a weekend—but an incredibly successful one for The Frame at the Loudoun Hunt Pony Club Summer Horse Trials!
Martin piloted four horses through the heat to top results. Kicking things off was Faith Genkinger’s Nuclear Code, who took the win in Open Training—what a fabulous birthday gift for Faith! Next up, sale horse First Syzygy QP continued to show why he’s a future star in the making, finishing 2nd in Novice Horse with another bold, professional round.
On day two, Frame stallion Frame Nantucket S brought home the win in Open Beginner Novice at just his third career event. With his elastic movement, incredible rideability, Tuck continues to impress. These qualities are the things we see in his foals, and we are excited to. watch Tuck continue to prove himself.
Sale horse Fisher’s Guccio rounded out the weekend with a 3rd in Open Beginner Novice, delivering a steady, confident performance that shows how far this young horse has come in his development.
Between the rain at Middleburg and the heat at Loudoun, we’re proud of how all the horses rose to the occasion and handled the conditions.
A special shoutout to our newest working student, Emma Thornell, who brought her mare Delta Dawn PVF—a #TFSHgrad— and finished 4th in Open Beginner Novice. Dawn was started at The Frame and sold to Emma about a year ago, and it’s a joy to have this pair back on the team.
Congratulations to all of the horses, riders, and connections!
