What About Jack

Description:

What About Jack, aka “Jack,” (owned by Windhaven Meadows, LLC) is a gorgeous Hunter Type Stallion Prospect. With correct gaits, exceptional jump, and talent, “Jack” started his 2022 Show debut exceptionally well. Jack was Reserve Champion in the 4y/o Performance Sallie B. Wheeler Young Horse breeding Championships, he received top scores from the Young Horse Show Series, and Reserve Champion at Warrenton Horse Show. With his young career beginning as a successful show horse, his future is looking very bright. Jack also qualified for the Young Horse Series Championships in Tryon, North Carolina, in 2022. Jack took time off from the show ring to focus on his breeding career in early 2023 and then participated in the North American Sport Stallion Test, where he had only 7 weeks to prepare and jump a 3’6″ course. Jack was presented to the ISR/Oldenburg NA and received his Lifetime Breeding license in October 2024.

Currently, Jack is registered with the International Sporthorse Registry Oldenburg North American Registry (ISR/Oldenburg NA) and with the Pinto Horse Association (PtHA) due to his unique golden palomino coat.

Jack is by Westporte out of a Torrero Mare. Westporte was a nominated International Hunter Futurity Premium Oldenburg Stallion. Westporte is renowned for producing offspring that are amateur-friendly horses with talent in the show ring. Jack is Westportes’ only son who has remained a stallion and his foals are showing the same easy demeanor of their Grandsire, Westporte.

Jack’s first crop of foals totaled four. He threw three fillies and one colt, and two are Palominos, one is Buckskin, and one is a beautiful, rich chestnut with white flaking throughout her body. Two of the four foals were presented to ISR/Oldenburg for inspection, and both were premium foals with scores of 8.2 each, and both were site champions at their respective inspection site. Jack’s second crop of foals totaled four, all of which are colts. We have one palomino, two chestnuts, and one bay. Two of the colts were presented to ISR/Oldenburg NA and one was Premium.
