Join Us for a Jump Chute Clinic!
Get your entries in for our upcoming Jump Chute clinic (happening Wednesday, September 4) in preparation for the #BredToEvent qualifier and Championships! You will be working with Martin and Joe from The Frame Sport Horses, who work extensively with this format as a training and evaluation tool.
The clinic is open to horses of all ages and is intended to be an introduction for young horses to practice free-jumping in a jump chute. The setup will be similar to the chute that will be used in our MDHT Bred to Event Championship being held at Loch Moy Farm September 14th – 15th, 2024
Free Jumping is a wonderful way to evaluate the potential of a young horse over fences. It is also an effective and positive way to introduce a young horse to jumping without the guidance or distraction of a rider. Not only is free-jumping good for young horses, it is also beneficial for mature horses to keep them quick on their feet and to remind them how to take care of themselves when needed.
Each horse will receive a private, 15 – 20 minute session (depending on entry count). Anyone may audit, No Audit fee required. This is a great learning experience!
