The weekend didn’t end quite as planned, but it was still a strong showing for The Frame before the skies opened up!
Joe kicked things off at the Upperville Colt & Horse Show, presenting Margaret Rizzo McKelvy’s Magnific Libertà in the Cleveland Bay breed classes—always a pleasure to showcase such a special horse in a historic ring. Espeically with a horse that was started under saddle at The Frame this past winter. Meanwhile, Martin headed to the Middleburg Horse Trials, where Frame Galactic Z put in another confident Training Horse round to finish 6th. Justified, owned by Erin Durst and Marsha Spencer, brought home 4th in Open Preliminary, and sale horse First Syzygy QP landed a 3rd in Novice Horse before the remainder of the event was canceled due to weather.
Congratulations to all of the horses and their connections! A huge thank you to the show organizers and volunteers at both venues for navigating the forecast and prioritizing safety.
