While we were at the AEC’s, Joe took the young horses to the Young Horse Show Series at High Point Hanoverians. He did a great job, especially with sale horse Finest Hour who finished in 1st place in the 5 year-old under saddle (flat and over fences) as well as dressage!

9/4: Young Horse Show Series @ High Point Hanoverians

• Ciel D’Emeraude (owned by Emerald Dandurand): 3rd in 4yo In-Hand + 1st in 4yo Jump Chute + 4th in 4yo Flat Under Saddle
• Finest Hour (for sale!): 1st in 5yo Flat Under Saddle + 1st in 5yo Jumping Under Saddle + 1st in Dressage TOC
• Frame Severine (owned by Martin): 2nd in 4yo Jump Chute + 5th in 4yo Flat Under Saddle + 1st in 4yo Jumping Under Saddle

The following week, we were back in action at the CDCTA Horse Trials while Nancy Wise was at Tryon for the Fall Horse Trials:

9/12: CDCTA Horse Trials (Berryville, VA)

• Martin with Madison Solosi’s Harthill Diamond: 2nd in Open Preliminary 

• Moriah Orms with Nuance: 15th in Open Training-2 
• Moriah Orms with Widespread Chaos: 7th in Open Preliminary 

9/11-12: Tryon Fall Horse Trials (Tryon, NC)

• Nancy Wise with Monbeg Blue Moon: 10th in Novice Rider
