Young Horse Show Series Finals at Tryon
We are so pleased with how the week went at the Young Horse Show Series Finals. Held November 9-13 at Tryon, both Martin and Joe came away with a handful of wins and top-10 placings. All of the horses benefit from the quality of competition and of course the facilities are lovely. Thank you to all the owners for a great YHS season!

- Joe with Cindy Spooner’s Allora NBF (bred by Karen Severns): 1st in 4yo Flat Under Saddle Qualifier + 2nd in 4yo Jumping Qualifier + 5th in 4yo Flat Under Saddle Finals + 5th in 4yo Jumping Finals + 3rd in 4-5yo Derby
- Martin with his own, Thora Pollak, and Diane Tauber’s BSF Frame Charleston (bred by Beall Spring Farm): 2nd in 5yo Jumping Qualifier + 1st & 2nd in Dressage Qualifier + 3rd in 5yo Flat Under Saddle Finals + 2nd in 5yo Jumping Finals + 1st & 1st in Dressage Finals + 2nd in 4-5yo Derby
- Joe with Lindsay Morris’ Lucky Charm: 4th in 6+yo Derby
- Joe with Susan Novotny’s Selik Nikko PAF (bred by Kimberlee Farms): 1st in 4yo Jumping Qualifier
- Joe with Taylor Polito’s Sequoia (bred by Taylor): 6th in 4yo Flat Under Saddle Finals + 8th in 4yo Flat Under Saddle Finals + 4th in 4yo Jumping Finals + 6th in 4-5yo Derby
- Martin with Nancy Quaranto’s The Little Prince (bred by Hannah Maloney): 1st in 6+yo Derby
