The 2020 Future & Young Event Horse calendars have been published and Martin has cleared his calendar for several of the qualifying events throughout the year. The Frame’s training program is built on the clear and consistent European framework of young horse development. Future Event Horse Prep: Set your youngster up for success by sending them to “Camp TFSH” prior to their first competition. We recommend two weeks at our farm in Virginia, which ideally would be scheduled before their first competition. We focus on steady, patient, and consistent progress while exposing horses to an array of scenarios. Whenever possible, we’d love to then have them back before the championships, and if your horse is ready to be started under saddle, we can set the framework for that as well. The cost for our Future Event Horse Prep program is $60/day.

Young Event Horse Prep: Whether your horse has never competed, or you just want to add some polish before championships, there’s a reason why Martin’s program is known for producing quality young horses. We recommend a two to three month stay at our farm in Virginia, which ideally would be scheduled before their first competition, and then they could return prior to championships. We want horses to be able to learn how to use their bodies and guide them as they positively progress mentally and physically. Each horse is different, so we strive to understand what drives them and to rigorously analyze their individual biomechanics. The cost for our Young Event Horse Prep program is $60/day.
