He’s My Rock was one of the earliest horses to come through The Frame Sport Horses, arriving in 2014 as one of Martin Douzant’s first owned-client horses after moving to the United States. An Off-the-Track Thoroughbred with endless personality, Rocky quickly became known around the barn for his affectionate nature. He loved attention on the ground, but under saddle he expected his rider to be accurate, balanced, and committed.
That honesty made him an exceptional teacher. Rocky rewarded good riding and quietly exposed mistakes, helping build the confidence, feel, and consistency that every event rider needs to progress.
Together with his owner, Silvio, Rocky earned their first ribbon at the USEA American Eventing Championships in 2016, a milestone that marked years of dedication and hard work. The pair also completed the USEA Medal Program Gold at Novice and the USEA Training Bronze Medal, reflecting the quality and reliability that defined Rocky throughout his career.
