At 17.2h+ Boris is a big, kind Thoroughbred with an equally big personality.
What we like most about Boris is his genuine, sensible nature. He is a very good boy with excellent ground manners, loves attention, and is the type of horse who is happiest when he knows what his job is and gets to spend time with his person. He is good to trailer out for lessons and has been a straightforward partner for his amateur owner.
Boris is currently looking for a program that prioritizes consistency. His owner’s schedule has made regular riding difficult, so he has not had the consistent work that allows him to show his full potential. With regular training and mileage, we think there is plenty more to come from this big, talented horse.
He would suit an amateur or junior working with a trainer who is looking for a kind, substantial horse to continue developing through the eventing levels, and he has already competed at Beginner Novice. He is also the type of horse we would like to see remain in a consistent training program, and his current owner will give special consideration to a rider who wants to continue working with The Frame.
